Force Adaptations fitness studio combines the best of cardio kickboxing and resistance training giving you a fat scorching, calorie burning, fun & addictive workout. We take advantage of your body’s natural ability to adapt to challenges through hard work, consistency, and by taking advantage of science. Our founder, Melanie Smith, is a certified Personal Trainer with a passion for health and fitness. She made it her life’s work to help people grow and transform their bodies and minds. Her passion for health and fitness grew when she went through her own weight loss journey. Her husband deployed to Afghanistan while she was pregnant and she ate her feelings. After their child was born, she went back college to get her Bachelorettes degree. While in school she worked two jobs, including a night job where some nights she ate just to stay awake. She was unhealthy, unhappy and self-conscience. She knew she needed to make a change but didn't know where to start. Through trial and error, she lost over 180 lbs. and has kept it off for over 7 years. It is now her passion to help others achieve their health and fitness goals. She has taken all that she learned in her journey and created Force Adaptations fitness studio where you get science-based results that are good for your mind, body and soul.
